bad practice think twice for eye exam.
I made appointment with Dr. Mitchell office in early 2013, appointment was cancelled 4 months later, 4 hours before my appointment by Dr Mitchell office, due to booking conflict, I than made an appointment Sept/2013 for mid January/2014 earliest booking available, 2 hours before my appointment they again called and Cancelled this time the excuse was their computer went down, I than the next day emailed office and explained there conduct, and wanted them to call for another booking, 3 weeks went by no call, I called talked to receptionist and explained to her situation, and her excuse than was they do this to some customers 5-6 times,I said it shows incompentence and overeacted and got totally offensive she said it was due to surgery during my appointment, which was apparently another new excuse, I wanted to talk to manager thinking this should resolve issue, I tried to explain about taking bookings and their office cancelling on a regular basis, that it shows or indicates incompetence to a person, He is extremely busy, Oh and I am not, Manager kept saying I hurt receptionist feelings about the incompetence comment, and she said I can find another place to go,Remember their is always two sides to a story. Obviously I was never welcome all I needed was a eye exam, so warning if anyone is looking for a eye exam might as well go somewhere else I wasted over a year with cancelled appointments, I guess one positive thing is that Dr.Mitchell is a good Doctor but as far as staff goes well proper training or code of conduct wouldn't hurt. I just don't want people to go though the same thing I did. The sad thing about his office is that it is normal and don't think anything is wrong, with them cancelling appointment on a regular basis. PS check ego at door is the truth and shows to me and to others incompentance it is what it is.. I sat and thought about not leaving email but I think that a bad deed should not be ignored.
