Whether you’re buying a musical instrument or learning to play one, the support and guidance of a musician can be very valuable. You don’t always know what you’re getting at big box department stores or online, but at Music Centre Canada you can be sure you’re receiving expert advice from people who love music.
Owners Luch Giacchetta, Tim Cambridge and Dave Temple have been a part of the Calgary music scene since the 80s and decided to open their own music store in 1995. “We try to create a shopping experience,” says Tim. “People’s expectations of retail are very high now.” Tim enjoys rising to meet those expectations, because he truly loves what he does. “As a musician I get to be in an environment with things I love all day long,” he says. “I play music at night and promote music during the day. It’s fulfilling to be able to sell and represent something you’re passionate about.”
