Getting into reflexology right out of high school in South Africa inspired a life-long passion for the practice in Anita Viljoen, but it wasn’t something she was able to make into a career until moving to British Columbia in 2006.
When her husband’s work brought the family to British Columbia, Anita decided it was the perfect opportunity to change careers and revive her love for aesthetics. “The law is different in BC so if I had to go back to school I might as well go back for something I love, and that’s when I went into aesthetics,” explains Anita. “I had a real interest in it prior to moving here and ran a program in holistic studies, which includes reflexology, but I never really pursued it. When I moved to British Columbia, I was able to finally able to fulfill my passion.”
