“On Tuesday night we have a casual get-together where paddlers from all over Vancouver get on the water with their kayaks, surf skis and paddle boards,” says Bob Putnam, owner of Deep Cove Outdoors. “It’s up at the spectacular Deep Cove and Indian Arm which are just 30 minutes from Vancouver, and it’s for all levels.”
This activity organized by the store sums up what Deep Cove Outdoors is all about: getting people together to enjoy to the outdoors with quality, reliable gear. Bob sells the gear at Deep Cove Outdoors, but he’s also provides the place for customers to use the gear: he’s also the owner Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak Centre, which is the perfect spot for customers to put their kayaks, paddleboard, and surf skids to good use.
“It’s not just about selling stuff,” says Bob who declares that his ultimate goal is sharing an enjoyment of living, working and playing on the water with his customers.
