Charlie Don't Surf est un établissement chaleureux. Vous pouvez vous y rendre facilement par voiture. L'arrondissement voisin est connu pour ses nombreux parcs.
If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either ? Go see for yourself
I think the only reason they are still in business is the poor unsuspecting tourists who dine there because of the location. We waited 45 minutes for
a chicken wrap & a quiche. The tortilla was so dried out that it cracked into little pieces when we tried to eat it. Service was churlish.
The quiche fared no better, It was so burned and dried out that we immediately returned it.
Although, our server, who appeared concerned offered, us anything else on the menu as replacement, after close to an hour of waiting we were not about to risk waiting yet another hour for replacements.
It begs the question, as a cook, how can you, in good conscience, put food like that on a plate and, as a server, how can you actually imagine that a customer would pay for food that in a normal kitchen (even at home) would end up in the garbage-not on a plate!

SHAME ON CHARLIE DON’T SURF!
Probably one of the nastiest dining experiences I have yet to have. Place was dirty. Staff ar rude. Portions of halibut were the size of fish sticks. Manager refused to listen to our concerns and yelled at us. When we asked for the owner's phone number he told us the manager would not phone us back. The food server, came after us yelling because we did not leave her a tip. Very unprofessional and unclean environment.
