I find ikea to have good quality items for a decent price. I bought bed slats and almost paid just for 1 of two boxes and the cashier tells me I need the other part yet :-). That was very helpful!

Ikea is a store that holds customer responsible for mistakes

Customers are held responsible for Ikea employee's mistakes,I know this first hand.We bought over $1,300 in furniture in one purchase and their employees had us leave the store missing two boxes. We had to make two additional trips to get the two boxes and only received a $40 gift card. Their employees did not seem to care that they are wasting our time.$40 is an insult thus my first experience with Ikea is definitely my last. The store just saved $40 because we don't intend to use gift card
