Rushed careless wrong diagnosis. Rude staff. Terrible.
This clinic, for the mere sake of ego of a rude, disrespectful, dishonest staff member, for their first priority being business/money, & next patient, next, without ever proper examination, diagnosis, started the ugly chain of events/attitudes that inflicted upon an innocent beautiful animal unnecessary horrific pain & suffering, denying him of further quite decent quality of life & more time with his deeply loved & loving family, ending not only with his untimely death. Please beware. Please.
Our wee yorkie "T.J." started a terrible cough and was having trouble breathing.. Unfortunately our family vet was in surgery and not available on this particular day?. We called 4 other veterinary clinics in the area and all of them said "sorry, no appts available" we couldn't believe that even being an extreme emergency (difficulty breathing) we were being turned away! When we called Durham vet clinic they welcomed us with open arms and was being assessed and treated a couple hours later!❤️
Great service, techs and doctor very caring and genuinely cared about my pet’s well-being and informed me with physical documents unlike other places I’ve been.
Love this clinic!! I wish I would have gone here years ago. The level of professionalism and sincere care is fantastic . Great vets and technicians.

I have been a long time customer and for years service has been getting worse. Janice is lovely. Dr. Dan is okay. The vet tech Julie was AWFUL. Rude, impersonal, impatient. She didn't greet my dog (maybe she doesn't like animals? If so, wrong profession, Julie). I felt judged and belittled by her. Overall, the clinic really pushes drugs/tests/procedures to try to bring in more money.

We want to reassure you that we wouldn’t recommend any tests that we don’t feel that your pet needs, and that we wouldn’t do for our own pets. As management we are very sorry you felt this way about one of our technicians. All of our technicians are very experienced, and we only hire fully qualified technicians.
