Imperial Hardwood Flooring

Imperial laid new hardwood flooring 5 years ago. Immediately there were obvious gaps opening up between the boards which the owner advised us were due to "expanding & contracting" due to heat ducts under the floor. The spaces grew worse over the years. Taking up some of the boards recently it became clear that the boards were not installed correctly - only nailed along one edge - which is what has caused the gaps. Do not use this company - they cut corners & do poor work.
