Avoid, or it will cost you!
This contractor came highly recommended. He quoted one price at the beginning and agreed to a timeline. Unfortunately, he subcontracts the work to others and often times is not on site. The work did not get done on time because he wasn't on site most days, and yet he demands to be paid more inspite of his frequent absences. He often will argue with the home owner about what he thinks should be done, instead doing what the home owner requests. He is highly unprofessional: often arguing with his workers, not supervising his workers to the point where they would leave food garbage all over the site, and borrowing the homeowner's tools (which were not returned). He stores other construction materials on the property and argues when asked to remove them. In the end, he went over his timeline, requested more money, requested that his last payment be in cash, and the work was not completed. Overall, I found his that his work is poor, unskilled, unfinished and lousy. As well, I found him to be highly misogynistic, inappropriately friendly and contemptuous. Please avoid dealing with this contractor, or it will cost you.
