Venez déguster un excellent repas chez Mamo Bistro. Ce lieu apprécié est ouvert en soirée du lundi au vendredi et en journée pendant les fins de semaine. L'accès est facile par voiture. Ils sont installés dans un quartier ou vous trouverez de nombreux parcs.

Butternut squash soup was tasty, grilled shrimp had a nice kick (from the chili oil), hand-made gnocchi was surprisingly light (a great appetizer that was a special of that night), grilled beets with spiced pecans and goat cheese was unusual yet delightful, lamb shanks (also a special that night) was tender but the sauce was quite overwhelming, and of course, the maple cheesecake was delicious (yet not too sweet). Overall, we felt the food, service, price, portions and ambiance was perfect.
Duane (our server and the manager) is entertaining and knowledgeable with wine pairings. Ryan is a terrific chef and it's obvious that he puts much care when preparing the food. We look forward to dining at Mamo Bistro again soon.
i must have caught these guys off gaurd or something the reviews i have read do not describe the MAMMO i dined at luke warm food, under seasoned and overpriced for the quality i eat out often and was not impressed

A true gem! We eat here as often as we can. The food is consistantly outstanding, as is the service; the menu changes regularly, there is never a chance to get bored by the selection. The restaurant is quiet, intimate, a wonderful place for a couple to get away or for friends to meet for dinner.

Mamo Bistro is just a wonderful little restaurant that does wonderful things every day. Subtle yet magical dishes. A small but evolving memu. I've been going there for three years and every time I go to Mamo I walk out planning when I can come back again. Every single colleague and friend I have brought to Mamo Bisto has walked away a raving fan. A true experience and a very unique find. Far from ordinary. What a restaurant should be. It's just that good.

This quaint chef owned restaurant is a fantastic example of what you can do with a dream. Ryan Odette describes his style as "simple food done really well". The small menu is seasonally driven with such wonderful dishes as bbq jumbo quails with blue cheese potato pave. If you go you must try the shrimp appetizer, on a bed of fennel slaw the grilled shrimp is topped with soy syrup and chili oil. Do not miss the selection of fresh homemade desserts.I highly recommend this restaurant.

This is, hands-down, one of the best restaurants in the entire Detroit metropolitan area. The service is impeccable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable on wine pairings and wine in general (ask Duane what he REALLY thinks about decanting wine!) The food is beautifully prepared with the tastiest, freshest ingredients, and always surprises with its seasonal variety.
I have been to this small restaurant numerous times with groups of varying sizes--Ryan (chef), Tina (Ryan's wife and co-chef), and Duane (waiter) have never disappointed. This is one of my top 5 favorite restaurants in the country, and that's saying a LOT. Make the trip out there for dinner, you won't soon forget it.

Probably the best kept secret in Windsor/Detroit. Excellent food with an appealing presentation by owner(s) Terrific wine list. Menu changes monthly so we try to visit often as each one is a delight. Small and intimate decor.
