On February 5, Notre Dame C.S.S. students spoke at the Brampton City Council meeting about the importance of Black History and presented a Call to Action for the future.

Student Trustee Raheem White from St. Marcellinus C.S.S., received the City of Mississauga Civic Award of Recognition that recognizes his outstanding dedication and contribution to the community.

St. Aidan Catholic Elementary School’s Equity Team had every single student in the school personalize a popsicle stick to create a 3-D cross. The cross symbolizes our faith community coming together to celebrate Black excellence.

On February 12, a special stained-glass window dedication and memorial mass was celebrated by Father Fraser McLaren at Cardinal Ambrozic C.S.S. on the third anniversary of the passing of our beloved brother, Reverend Fr. Vito Marziliano.
