About Jean Lagace
M. Jean Lagace was born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario. Since 1977, she has made her home in Tiverton, a quaint community in the Municipality of Kincardine. Since 1998, Jean’s Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing has operated out of her Tiverton home. Her interest in framing started when she began to get serious about her own art. Rather than travel and have someone else do the framing, she began an intense study into the art and science of framing.
Located in beautiful Tiverton, Ontario, Jean’s Gallery of Arts & Custom Picture Framing offers a wide range of original artwork, as well as custom framing and canvas stretching services. Jean is one of the region’s few specialists in archival framing.
Archival Framing
Having your art, photos, and cherished objects framed in an archival, conservation manner will preserve them for eternity. Archival framing protects your works by using acid-free materials and UV-filtering glass. In regular framing, non-UV protective glass and standard matting will degrade and discolour the piece over time, possibly doing irreversible damage. We can help make the memories last!

Jean works in a variety of media watercolour, oils, water mixable oils, pastels, acrylic, pen and ink, encaustic, mono printing, and many other beautiful and unique works of art.
