Our Optometrists
Kelsey Lindskog
Dr. Kelsey Lindskog grew up in Regina and graduated with a BSc in Biology with Distinction from the University of Regina. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 2020, graduating on the Dean's Honours List. She completed an externship in Salt Lake City, gaining experience in ocular disease with a focus on glaucoma, as well as a semester at FYidoctors - Smithers - Doctors of Optometry. There she gained experience in rural optometry and enhanced her knowledge of disease management. During her studies, she also traveled to provide eye care in Jamaica and looks forward to doing so again. Dr. Lindskog loves all aspects of optometry and enjoys seeing patients of every age. She grew up with a passion for science and always knew she wanted to work in health care. She finds her field incredibly exciting and rewarding, abundant with new information and technology to learn about and patients to serve. When she's not at the clinic, Dr. Lindskog enjoys being active and outside with her friends and family, whether that is spending time at the lake, cross-country skiing, or playing softball and hockey. At home, you are likely to find her cooking or cuddling with her cat, George.
Bryce Giesbrecht
Dr. Bryce Giesbrecht joins FYidoctors after graduating from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2021. Dr. Giesbrecht's thorough training included an internship at the University of Waterloo, as well as externships at practices across the country, where he gained experience in treating glaucoma, improving symptoms of dry eye, and managing myopia, among other optometric duties. Dr. Giesbrecht grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan, and knew he wanted to be an optometrist even while attending Winston Knoll Collegiate. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Giesbrecht enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring Regina's food scene, playing music, and being active. Bryce welcomes new patients to visit him at FYidoctors in the Northgate Mall, Victoria Square Mall, and Wynyard.
