Ye's sushi is probably one of the best places in the whole K-W area to get sushi. It is truly a wonderful experience. The service was good, nothing to complain. The atmosphere was not all that good, but all of those dissapointments were made up in the food. The food is phenomenal; there is nothing thats "adequate" about it. It is really a "one of a kind" experience for any of you that haven't had sushi. The portions are nicely sized, and overall well worth the money. Would I visit again? Absolutely! Lire plus

I’ve been coming here since they first opened.I have noticed changes in the food portions.Twice now I have ordered #140 Malaysian Seafood Laksa Rice Noodle Soup in extra-large.It is disappointing.The actual bowl itself is large enough to serve four people.The noodle portion can fill a small coffee mug, the entire bowl is just soup, or seasoned broth. My family loves to get together over breakfast and catch up on each others lives. Our #1 choice for the past 10 years is the Daily Grill. Wait staff are always friendly, and they remember us and even my nephews' orders (which rarely vary). The "Requisite" breakfast is an exceptionally good deal and always arrives quickly and hot! My Mum loves the Belgian waffles, my nephews rave about the pancakes, my Dad enjoys the steak and eggs. We do go for dinner sometimes. The chicken parm is a big serving of homey deliciousness that will leave the hungriest diner full. My husband, who loves a good burger and is picky about what exactly that constitutes, says the Grills' banquet burger is one of the best out there. Good hours. Lots of parking. I had a wonderful server, she was polite, and knew how to add that little something to make my day. The best server is Hailey. She was prompt with bring out the food and drinks. With out being to prying she discovered that I was down about spending my birthday alone. She gathered her team mates and sang me happy birthday. Kismet is my go-to place for Indian/Bangladeshi food in Waterloo. I usually get take out because the space is pretty small, and I've never had a problem with the people at the cash. My partner is not a fan of cilantro and they've never given as a problem when we ask for items without. Their naan is the best I've had in Waterloo (Grain of Salt in Cambridge is the only place I've tried with better naan). Much better than the sort of pancakey stuff I've seen at other places *cough*Curry in a Hurry. I really like their aloo gobi, which is potato and caulifower with curry spices. This place has the BEST Tzatziki sauce ever, it is SO good. I always get extra servings and put it on everything, because it tastes amazing with all the flavours. My friend and I usually get the same thing and share. Their portions are reasonable sizes for the prices they offer. I love that they come with rice and salad :) The server is also friendly and is always smiling eventhough he is conservative. Their interior reflects warm tones and even the patio is a good place to eat. Try the stuffed eggplant, it is absolutely delicious! Upon discovering this place, I have been at least once a week either for a pot of tea, a quick lunch or a dinner with my partner. The atmosphere is relaxed and not rushed - the dining room is relatively small so service is able to see when you are in need of anything. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and so full of flavor! Sometimes restaurants will just give you the meat version without the meat and that will be their vegetarian options but here you get treated to refined and practiced vegetarian dishes. We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of. Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia. Everything about this meal was fantastic! The service was polite and fast, and our water glasses were never empty for long. The antijitos were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot). Everyone I went with was happy with their meal. A couple of people got the whoppie burger and really liked it, and fajitas was the special (which one person got and it looked great).
