This veterinary clinic is by far the best one we've been to in Oakville. We used to go to another clinic on Upper Middle and switched when our original vet left because we found the replacement vet was trying to push products and procedures on us. This clinic is very honest and the prices are reasonable. The vets are absolutely amazing and you can tell how much they care about the animals they look after. They also don't force anything upon you and tell you when something is only suggested, instead of saying its mandatory. They help you find the most affordable ways to treat your animal and are very accommodating.
Dr. Haines is the vet we usually see and not enough good can be said of her. HIGHLY recommend this clinic!

Dr. Gold vas very professional when he spoke with me and helped me to understand what happened to our 13 year old rose crown Conure (Small Parrot) He prescribed eye drops and after using them on baby bird my wife and I saw a huge difference in just two days. He’s an excellent Veterinarian I highly recommend him to anyone with a pet that needs medical attention.

This is the best veterinary clinic I have ever gone to in 30 years of being a pet owner. From the front desk to the technicians to the vets themselves I receive nothing but the highest level of care for my companion animals.
They have made a point of knowing my pet’s names whenever I walk in or see them on the street! I know they do a huge amount of volunteer work (I've encounter them on walkathons as a group!) and free services for a number of rescue groups.
Last year the worst happened, and one of my cats became sick while I was overseas. The vet on duty made sure I was contacted and help me make some very serious decisions...she even cried with me on the phone when the time came to make the hardest decision any pet owner must make. I cannot thank her enough for her support.
I cannot recommend this office highly enough!

We knew we needed to put our 20 year old cat down and were referred to Derry Heights. The nurse was so comforting and helped us make it through the process. The vet was a very nice man as well. He checked Ziggy and assured us that we were making the right decision. We thought she was in pain and he could see that she was. I would definitely refer people to them. Dr. Z and his team are great! My birds love them. I've been going there for years. I swear Dr. Z is a bird whisperer , my birds are not afraid of him and he makes them feel comfortable. Definitely recommend them!
