I cannot say enough good about Amherst. The staff is incredibly kind and highly professional. Our little dog, Casey, received the most gentle treatment and plenty of treats. When she became sick with mitral valve disease, Dr. Wark was always available and diligently cared for her. Casey did die, but, we are so thankful that her last months were filled with love. Amherst was a great support and continues to be as we nurse our 18 year old cat, Tiger, through her golden years. Dr. Yuen is making sure that Tiger enjoys every one of her nine lives. There have been several times where my heart was broken and I thought it was the end, but, through highly capable diagnosis, we still have our little girl. I can call anytime and come dashing in a minute before closing and I am always greeted by the kindest front end staff I could ever hope for. Amherst has been a part of our family for so many years and I could not be more grateful for the journey we have been privileged to share with this top-rate veterinary clinic.

I had to use this vet in an emergency situation. I would have paid them anything, as I couldn't get in with the other vets I have used in the past. They charged me the exact price that I was quoted, and through researching afterward, I discovered it was the lowest price.
They had to put my dog down, and they were kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. I have heard of vets trying to get people to consent to frivolous treatments, even when the dog is dying. These guys did no such thing.
Honest, compassionate and professional!

I was very impressed with the care my pet received from Dr Lehay and her staff. My bird was very sick and they did a thorough examination, made good recommendations and appropriate referrals. Amazing experience. I was referred to Dr. Harry by a friend of mine as I wasn't happy with my previous veterinary clinic that I had been going to for 7 years, so I booked an appointment and took my 7 year old Morkie to get her annual check up. We would like to thank Dr Cichon for his excellent care out of our Welsh Terrier. Our regular vet could no longer provide treatment for her myasthenia gravis, a debilitating muscle disease. Dr Cichon, along with acupuncture sessions and supplements significantly improved her quality of life. They have new management at the Lynn Valley store. The fish room has been rebuilt with over 50 tanks of fish. They have also brought back all the birds, rodents, kitten, and they also have cute little puppies. It now a real pet store.

Everyone here is wonderful! I was searching for a new vet for my rabbits and guinea pigs and I kept finding vets in my area with mixed reviews that left me feeling uneasy about taking my

I brought my ferret here because he had a chipped tooth and a piece jammed up into his gum line. They gave me all my options up front and let me decide what I wanted to have done which I loved. On drop off day they let me bring my little big to the back. Very affordable and there were no problems healing. Highly recommend this vet, I will be going back
