A great place to grab some Indian take-out when one does not feel like cooking.
Execellent biryani. Those that believe salt is the only way to add flavour to a meal will be disappointed. It probably works well for food that's been boiled or fried way too long and now is devoid of taste. Here at Friends, spices supply the flavour. Lots of it!
Lovely curries. Be sure to try the goat, it won't bite. The portions are very generous; a single order of biryani is more than a meal. Melt in your mouth bhutura and naan. Yummy samosas, the best in Brampton The sweets are also some of the best in town.
Friendly service, the girls are always smiling. The seating area is comfortable, simple and clean but nothing special. The food makes up for this

Their chicken biryani is very good, it has the right amount of heat and flavor. The only down side to it is that it only comes with 2 pieces of chicken (leg and thigh). I also enjoy their vegetable patty, the stuffing is very good. The only down side is that they serve it cold and it is greasy. I would recommend they heat it first or quickly fry it.

very good customer service and very tasty food. The owner and the employees are very nice. I will recommend this for very tasty and delicious indian food. I live near by and my whole family loves this restaurant especially the chat papri and their manchurian.

My wife and I have been going here since they opened about 11 years ago.
The flavours are fantastic and our only complaint is that they need to tone down the spiciness (heat) of the food.
We keep trying other Indian restaurants in Brampton but always come back to Minar as our favourite.
Great food at a great price with an adequate atmosphere.
Great Masala Chai & Nan Bread too.
as to the washrooms.... they could use a bit of maintenance but are always CLEAN and certainly in better shape than most Indian restaurants we have tried.

Here is my unbiased unpaid for review after visiting the restaurant last night. This is a high quality, high end buffet. Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations. One of the best restaurants I have been to in GTA. For the price paid the food is 10/10, ambiance 10/10 and service 10/10.
