Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I was told over the phone that I could rent a vehicle with a debit card when I made the reservation. They handed me the keys and told me again, I just needed a debit card after I went through the inspection and signed the documents. I went in to finalize the rental in the store and I was told I required a credit card by Greg And Dan! Very unprofessional! Now I'm sitting with my luggage stuck at the rental place and need to get to Calgary because my sick grandma has a medical operation.
