If you sign up for their so-called 2 yr deals & decide to upgrade it b4 the 2 yrs is up - DONT! Why? They will charge you for the remainder of 1st plan then add it to new monthly plan making your first bill thereafter a shocker! Awful company.
Shaw bill after switching to Telus arrived with false charges and multiple charges on removal of various 2 year plan features and due now demand for payment and threat of late payment charges and penalties topped with gst and pst taxes payable . Shaw’s treatment of clients goes beyond poor service, extended outages, slow internet with dropped audio and unmatched streaming video to being a predatory agent scamming customers with opaque deceitful business practices.
I was fortunate to get the best service rep ever to help me update my contract with Shaw.
The new plan saved us a bundle of money.

Horrible customer service, wait times at the Nanaimo office are ridiculous.
Having to wait an hour just to drop off equipment is aggravating, they simply dont care about their customers time at all.
Id rate them a negative star if I could. The absolute worst customer service ever. I have been trying to pay my final bill and have spent at least 5 hours in total on hold, being transferred, put on hold again and totally forgotten. On the once occasion I finally got through, I was told three different things, then put on hold and again left hanging. I am sooooo glad we decided to switch to Telus, whose customer service is excellent.
