GROSS!! we ordered the chicken pad thai, the chicken was nothing like chicken I have ever seen before. Mystery meat some pieces looked shredded and other pieces were big and slimy like. Not even sure what we were served but looked like they used either chicken from leftover plates or some other type of mystery meat. Bland ... count even eat it and walked out
Such a bad place, they did not get the orders right 3 times. They forgot the rice two times and the other time they did not get the order right at all. For the order for not getting it right, before we order we confirmed with the lady THREE TIMES!! Also we ordered two curries and they came watery and not like a curry. I am so disappointed with this place and I do not recommend this place at all.
Rude service and awful food! save your money! try a sushi place instead
We stopped in for lunch yesterday and told the server that we had never eaten Thai food before and asked her to recommend something. She was quite helpful. We each ordered a dish from the lunch menu thinking we could share. I'm not all that sure what it was we ordered. LOL I ordered some kind of fried rice dish I think it was called Imperial Thai Fried Rice with chicken that was so hot I couldn't eat it. Included was a spring roll wrapped in rice paper and deep fried, it was crispy outside, I really enjoyed it.. There was some kind of side dish salad that "may" have been the house salad. There was hardly anything to it. It was served in a small, oval dish. I think it was made with julienne strips of lemongrass and bamboo shoots. Also on the plate was what appeared to be sweet & sour chicken balls that were so hard we had trouble biting into them. Neither of us ate much of them. The plates are rather unusual, being sectioned boxes. This is pretty unique. An order of plain rice somewhat filled me as I couldn't eat the main course of fried rice. While I can't blame the restaurant for my not liking Tai food, I certainly can blame them for the loud crashing of dishes and chairs being dragged across the floor. The noise was horrendous! This was one of the noisiest restaurants I've ever been in. My husband and I almost jumped out of our skin every time we heard dishes slamming and crashing and chairs scraping across the floor. With the exception of the staff, we were the only ones in there so it shouldn't have been that noisy. While we will give Thai food another try, we won't be back to this place!

I am sorry to "hear" that your experience was not the greatest. You sure seem bored, you had an aweful long response.
I quite enjoy this restaurant and dine there on a regular basis. The portion sizes are large, the prize is low and they've been very consistant with quality.
We enjoyed it a lot, the food was fast and had plenty of flavour and more than adequate spiciness. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared quickly and the helpings were quite generous.
I have ordered take-out from this restaurant a few times because I don't get a lot of time for lunch. I was not impressed with the Pad Thai. It lacked flavour and I felt hurried to order even though the restaurant was empty. I don't know if the owners are related to the owners in Barrie but they have the same crappy service.
I gave this place a couple of chances. I always ordered my food to go until the last time. I asked for part of my order to go and part to stay. When I received my meal it was all packaged and I explained what we had discussed earlier. As I sat down to eat, the server yelled from behind the counter, NO! excuse me she cam over and told me that I was not allowed to sit with my food because it was packed to go and I was asked to leave! I was shocked and will not be back.
I had to ask them to wipe the table. Staff are almost surly. They take your order but are never pleasant nor do they ever smile at you. No patience if you are slow to order, they just walk away. Not really any outstanding dishes so far - will probably never go back.
My first time in Collingwood, I first thought that Thai restaurants in this area is going to be pretty bad. However, this restaurant convinced me otherwise. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious (but on the spicy side). The crystal noodles were too salty. However, I recommend you order their pad thai because they somehow managed to infuse a lemon grass flavour. The Indonesian fried rice was good, and their mango salad was very refreshing. It had slices of young papaya which is a nice touch. Service was alright, the servers did not smile much but they will do what you want them to do. Their prices are relatively cheap (around $10 or less per dish) and the portions were good. Will visit again....
