Free WIFI but beware surfers, big brother is watching. IF THEY DON'T LIKE YOUR BROWSING HABITS THEY KICK YOU OUT. Coffee terrible and overpriced. Food is blah and overpriced. Desserts my 10 year old could come up with at outrageous prices. Skip this joint.
I have been here twice now. The first time I was served by the owner, Joe. I thought he was very helpful. As it was my first time in I asked him what he would recommend. He asked me a few questions figured out what I was looking for and suggested a few deserts. Today I went in and was served by a very friendly girl. Again I asked for a recommendation as this time I was looking for more then a snack. We had a friendly conversation and I decided to order the club sandwich. Joe the owner served my food to me and again engaged in friendly conversation. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family because on both occasions, though looking for something different each time, I was met with fantastic friendly service by both the employees and management. I liked the food both times, the atmosphere was clean and had a good energy about it and the service was excellent! I will definitely return.
This was a horrible experience for me and my girlfriend. I absolutely despised the customer service, extremely rude and impatient service. The food was ok, but definitely not good enough to ever even get close to convincing me to go back. I do not recommend this cafe to anyone, it won't be open for too much longer with service like this.

Thought it might be an interesting place to go with my friends for lunch, but after waiting in a long line and only to be told that they take CASH ONLY but there's an interac machine behind me! I would certainly have walked out if my friends hadn't already ordered and were eating! So I paid the $1.50 plus the $3.00 the bank will charge for a meal that only cost $5.00! I was then made to wait in line again and order AGAIN. When the food was brought to me it was in a lovely styrofoam take out container (and I never specified that I wanted it to go). My friend who is severely allergic to nuts had some on her wrap and when she sent it back, they argued with her. TERRIBLE service! The worst I have ever seen...it's too bad for them that I won't be making any more cash withdrawls to spend in their lousy little cafe!

This is my newly found favourite place in Guelph. The staff are great - order at the counter and they bring your food over when it's ready. Iced Capp was way better than "you know who" and the food was awesome.
i wasnt really sure what i wanted, and i wasnt really hungry, met a friend there for coffee, the guy behind the bar was really nice and he made me a custom drink, they had something called a steamer and i wanted a strawberry one, which wasnt on their menu but he made it for me anyway. now thats what i call customer service! its a pretty little cafe too, nice quiet "read-your-newspaper" environment. i liked it

What a great addition to Downtown (old quebec st mall.) The staff were really friendly and the place is really warm and comfortable with lots of space.
Their fair trade coffee is fabulous and a nice alternative to the harsh planet bean roast that seems to be everywhere.There is an amazing selection of loose leaf teas too (they even have french press travel mugs for tea!!)
Food was freshly prepared and they have homemade soups all the time. Lots of vegetarian options.
A really warm place to get a quick coffee or stay a while and read.
