Service was wonderful, very accomadating, lovely atmosphere, food was to die for! Great job everyone! Will come again!

An okay experience- we were seated immediately...

An okay experience- we were seated immediately however waited at least 15 minutes with no server coming to our table. I eventually stopped a server going by and asked whether or not we were going to be served. Following this, the service was excellent (including the manager coming to us and oferring a free round due to our wait). We started with french onion soup (very good) and caesar salad (also very good and reasonably priced). I was very disappointed with the vegetarian selection-or lack thereof (YES-vegetarians DO go to steakhouses since our friends and families eat meat!!. It seems like it would be so simple to offer a veg stir fry or something of that nature. Fortunately I eat seafood so chose the grilled shrimp (lots of plump shrimp with a side of rice- good but the rice was bland/boring and pricey $23). My significant other ordered the large size prime rib and enjoyed it and the garlic mashed-very filling (and he's a big muscular guy with a big appetite!). We took advantage of the free round in the form of specialty coffees which were fine. In all, an okay experience and although we may go back (nice atmosphere, good service after initial incident) we have other favorite restaurants in Kingston we would visit first.

I, along with 3 friends, decided to check out all the hooplah surrounding the Keg, so we decided to roll in for some steak 9ish. Once we got there, we were greeted by a charming young hostess and told that the wait for a table in the dining room would be close to 2 hours, so we decided to eat in the bar instead. This ended up being a good decision, as the bar offered a great atmosphere, and without sounding offensive, some great eye candy. We had a gorgeous blonde waitress who knew her stuff and put up with our antics. We started out with "keg size" (double) ceasars and a bottle of ravenswood; the caesars were fantastic, the best i have had in a while. We also had shrimp cocktails and the bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers. The shrimp cocktail was average, but the scallops were perfect, delicious. For my main course i debated between the slow roasted prime rib and the lobster dinner, and eventually decided that since i was at a steak house i should go with the primerib, it was absolutely perfect. All in all, service was impeccable, and food was just awesome. I hope to be back very soon. Go there!
