Having spent much time in George and Bill's...

Having spent much time in George and Bill's Hyland Restaurant several years ago, we sure know where to get the best Fish and Chips, and Chicken Salad Sandwich in Ontario. Thanks to our great waitress, Kathy, for still being there. P.S. If I left my change purse there, could you please hold on to it for me, Kathy, til the next time we see you, thanks.

The fish looked huge and delicious, unfortunately...

The fish looked huge and delicious, unfortunately when we got it home, we had to throw it out because it had melted the plastic trays it was served in, which destroyed our appetite. I would recommend they not put food straight out of the deep fryer into a styrofoam box.

The fries were slightly undercooked and dry on the inside while being quite greasy on the outside. They were large and were more like wedges than french fries. The halibut was a good quality piece of fish, but the batter was far too greasy. When combined with the greasy fries, it was altogether too much grease. The batter on the fish was puffy. It gave the illusion of getting a huge piece of fish, but it was just air when you cut into it.

We recieved our drinks first. My son found a...

We recieved our drinks first. My son found a grain of rice as well as some sort of seed half way through his shake we returned it for another one. Waited thirty five minutes for our order. At that time we were told that the order had been misplaced or was not placed for some reason. Decided at that point that we would pay for our drinks and left. To the waitress's credit she felt bad about the whole ordeal and didn't even want to accept the tip. Will not be returning

The breakfast was appalling! I ordered the...

The breakfast was appalling! I ordered the peameal bacon, home fries, eggs and toast. The only things edible were the toast and eggs. The peameal bacon was rancid and the home fries were obviously from the day before and reated with water and burnt! Absolutely ruined my Sunday. I will never go there again and I will ensurethat I steer all my friends clear of that place.
