This was the best dinner! After the rennovation it looks fabulous! The party room downstairs (got a small tour) looks so retro chic, and the food was great! No complaint! Waiter was very kind and we had a wonderful evening.
We visited the Red Latern during their reopening week. The food was ok but the service was painfully slow. From the moment we walked in the door to time we were served our lunch was 1 hour.
This place was having a so called customer service appreciation day with 50% off menu items. Perhaps they didn't realize that to show appreciation for customers means you actually have to give good service. Took a very long time to receive our food. Waitresses never apologized once for the time it took. The food nor their recent renno are not great enough for me to return or to recommend it.
Very glad I didn't have to pay full price for my food with such bad service.
This place has been a well established neigbourhood watering hole but now it's much more than that. Probably the nicest Pub in the area! Perfect place for a first date or drinks amongst friends. Heard some chatter about a DJ on the week-ends??? definitely worth checking out!
This place holds the allure of being close to home, but i've been there twice since living in the area over the past 4 years. The place was a stinky overpriced beer hole, while the reno should improve upon the stink factor. I hope to be wow'd!
