Avoid - terrible staff, building falling apart.
In just 6 months living here I've had the following problems in my unit: - Heating broke down in February, took 4 days to fix. The temperature in the apartment went down to 15°C. For 4 days; - Water suddenly pouring out of one of the kitchen power outlets (!!!). Superintendents were off duty, called emergency number, emergency contact (Simon) complained about ruining his Friday night. Leak and outlet didn't get fixed and replaced until the following Tuesday (see photo attachment); - Got flooded due to a broken pipe in our neighbour's wall - kitchen counter swelled up, never got replaced although work orders were submitted; - Air conditioner broke down in July - superintendents off duty. The temperature in the apartment: 31°C. Now to the general building issues: - We were promised a saltwater pool - it's not saltwater, they use chlorine. The pool area in in a general state of disrepair (pieces of ceiling falling into the water, etc.); - There are constant leaks in the hallways - probably broken pipes - that take weeks to get fixed. Since we've had the issue in our apartment as well, I wouldn't be surprised if others had it too (see photo attachment); - Superintendents almost ALWAYS off duty. Staff generally very rude, moody and offensive; - The water heaters broke down several times during the winter, so no hot water for a couple of days each time; - You get storage, but you can only access your storage unit 9-5 Monday to Friday. If you work 9-5 tough luck, the superintendents will be off duty when you need the key to the storage room; - Entrances locked due to broken keys in the doors (no fobs here, everything's based on keys, fobs would be an investment and there is no money invested in this building). Be very very careful about the superintendents - at first they come off as nice old people, but that ends the moment you sign the lease. Save your money (and your nerves) and find another place. Not even the great location is worth the pain you'll go through.
