Une institution à Pointe-Claire depuis plus de 35 ans, le cabinet de Dr James Donnelly est une clinique familiale qui vise à fournir un service exceptionnel.
Diplômé du programme d'optométrie de l'Université de Montréal en 1976, Dr James Donnelly a ouvert son cabinet dans l'Ouest de Montréal il ya 35 ans. Il a bâti sa pratique autour des besoins de ses patients et de leurs familles, dont beaucoup viennent pour leur examen de la vue annuel depuis le début. Dr Donnelly s'est donné comme mission d'offrir à ses patients un service personnalisé et professionnel. Il a transmis sa passion à deux de ses fils qui sont opticiens. Poursuivant la tradition de l'entreprise familiale, Dr Donnelly est maintenant co-propriétaire de la pratique avec son fils, Shawn.Shawn Donnelly a gradué avec honneurs du programme d'opticiens de Georgian College à Barrie, Ontario, en 2000. Il travaille avec son père, Dr Donnelly, depuis plus de 17 ans. En tant que directeur et co-propriétaire de la pratique, Shawn supervise la sélection des montures.
En plus de leur clinique de Pointe-Claire, Dr Donnelly et Shawn sont en charge d'une clinique mobile dans la région du Nunavik. Ils ont tous deux développé ce projet et continuent à le superviser. Amateur de voyages, Dr Donnelly se déplace dans la région plusieurs fois par année afin d'y travailler. Shawn est lui aussi fier de la clinique mobile que Dr Donnelly et lui ont développé dans le Nunavik. I phoned for an appointment and asked as to what would be the fee, I was told there was no charge. I thought finally, being a senior does have it's advantages. When i arrived one of the assistants informed me that there would be a 30 dollar charge for the exam, i did not SEE that coming. I also had a form from the SAAQ regarding my driving license and needed a signature from the optometrist to send in, what a surprise when i was told that would cost 30 plus tax. I've been going to this clinic for over 10 years, both for my eye exams and prescription frames. I've always received superb and personalized service, from the front staff, as well as the professionals and clinic owners( James & Shawn Donnelly). I recently took my daughter here for her first eye exam and was touched by the thoughtful and age appropriate attention she received. I would recommend going here for all your eye healthcare needs, you'll be remembered by name and won't be disappointed!
Why the eyedrops? And why against my consent? I clearly said no, and the lady told me there would be a fee for another procedure if I didn't want the drops in my eyes. It might be 30$, but on welfare, it's 30$ I can use elsewhere! And they're painful drops, too. Also, very expensive. And the man at the end sounded like he was there to sell me a car! As in, i would have to pay for just about any little detail separately, where Greiche & Scaff adds in anti-glare / scratch for free with the frame
I am so impressed with the excellent service that I received that I just had to write a review! Everything from the staff, the service and the selection was amazing! Stephane, one of the opticians, helped answer a tricky question I had. They are also genius with children. My daughter loved the experience, she even said it was fun! I'll never go anywhere else! I strongly recommend a visit.
