Called Patterson Masonry after getting one quote for having our chimney repaired. It is not really in use but shrouds the metal exhaust for the furnace. The house is old and the chimney mortar was in serious break down. Concerned about leaking etc.

Ron made a great effort to rebuild my 1885 decorative chimney before the roofers came.
At the same time they rebuilt a brick wall in my yard and repointed the house! They were very nice, fun to have around, and hard working. All in all they did an exquisite job on everything they touched. I'd be happy to have them back but they did the kind of job that will last for decades.

I hired Glen to repair our block and stucco chimney in Old Ottawa East. Unlike some others he didn't try to talk us into doing expensive and unnecessary work. He replaced only what needed it, and did simple repairs for the rest. They were quick, polite, and did a great job. Turns out they've repaired a lot of chimneys in my neighborhood.
